If the new seat is a memory seat you'll have to remove the control box under the seat, and all the motors that plug into it will have to have their plug connectors removed, and then the wires soldered to the connector from the new seat, in the proper configuration so that it works the same as the old seat. So all re soldering is on the new (and old to retrieve needed parts) seats....the door and connector on the floor in the car remain untouched.
