I used to own a '82 Blazer 4X4 with the 6.2 in it. It got around 26-27 mpg, but was lacking in power. I really liked it other than the power issue.

If you don't mind a slow take-off, it will run all day at 65-70 mph with no complaints. I never did try to tow with mine, so I can't speak to that.

In that price range, I'd say get it - if it's in good shape.
