I know that.
But at least here in Europe that is not common.
There are lots of these engines with many miles that never bent a rod.
People don't know that problem, too, because I really don't remeber that happening in any of these engines around here.
The most common failure is a problem in the head gasket or crack in the engine head due to overheating. But that isn't also very common, too.
So, I don't think that the engine has a bent rod. It runs very well; I did more than 2300 km in two days without any problem...
I think that the oil consumption may be the normal for an engine with 350000 km... And it isn't increasing with the time, wich I think that didn't happen if a rod was bent...
At least I hope that...
