The pedal does not go down to the floor. It is very stiff because it does not have the brake booster assistance.

I read on another post that I could try to pull a vacuum on the booster and see if it holds vacuum. I may be kind of tough to do so because there is a threaded fitting on the booster and It will be difficult to get a tight seal.

Does my symtoms sound like a pump or booster problem? Those boosters are expensive, I want make sure it is the booster.
