You are experiencing a failed booster. I just had the same issue with my SD. Rebuilt Boosters will be priced between $600 and $150.00. Much against my principals I bought one from Checker (aka O'Riley) for $150 with a lifetime warranty. Not too bad to change, be sure to replace the "O" ring between the booster and master cylinder.
