Well the car's battery is dead after 4 years of service. it came off another car I had. Wife tells me she had noticed it cranking kind of funny for about a month.

It is so dead that after being on the trickle charger for almost 24 hours it is still not even reched th 80% point, just soild red light. It is a Optima Red Top battery that I would put on the trickle charger about once a month, and some times more often, but I haven't had it on the charger since mid July. I have always had the wife drive out of town for fuel, but not the last month as it was better fuel and cheaper in town. I guess I should have kept up the battery better and not had her filling in town.

My idea was have her dri=ving it out of town 20 miles one way to fuel up to get the car properly warmed up and charged up and clean out the system by a highway drive.

I also found a Vacuum line pulled loose over by the airbox where they is a 3 way connector with one of the lines going to the tranny I believe.

Anyway I was wondering if this car will shut down things like A/C if the battery drops to point too low such as say 9V that a lot of the new cars do. Any idea?
