Yes, My pedal did get drawn to the floor . And this should indicate a properly working booster .. or maybe not . I think maybe they are assuming this will tell you if you diaphram is faulty but what if it is something else ? I'm wondering if the valve/ mechanism [whatever is in there ... I'm not sure] that breaks the vacuum on one side of the diaphram is faulty and not allowing air in[or out?] . And, even though it's building vacuum [apparently] maybe it's just a little more than it started with ...enough to let the pedal move . I'm going to go loosen the master cylinder again and see if I hear the suck of vacuum after the car has sat all night[ I have no idea what this will tell me ] . Before when I heard it I had just run the car .Update later . Spike .
My bet is still the booster being bad .

356nen , When you did your vacuum test did you increase the engine speed to see if the vacuum reading increased also ?
