The Sixto Gap

I could've sworn I've seen the sensor sitting on the transmission tunnel behind (ahead of) the radio but maybe I'm thinking of my W124. And I had the car appraised for exactly that reason, so the insurance company (mine, yours, whoever's) couldn't blow me off with a low-ball settlement offer.

Anyway, here is the "Sixto Gap" before and after. All I had to do was loosen the bolt (10mm wrench), push up on the bumper, tighten the bolt and the gap went away.

Thanks for pointing it out, Sixto.
