The body of the light is the same for LHD and RHD. The pattern moulded into the glass is different.
Look at a sharp picture of any mercedes with "euro" lights and you'll see a V-shaped wedge in the glass. That wedge should open on the driver's side of the car.
Nothing stops a sympathetic seller from keeping the glass and just selling you the body.
Of course, then you need a second seller to get you the glass.
