Hi All

Whenever I start my car for the first time of the day, the engine runs a little rough at first (15-20 seconds) and my exhaust briefly expels grey smoke. Then, for the first 5-7 minutes of driving, my shifting is a bit rough. After the durations I mentioned have passed, the car runs smoothly. This ONLY occurs during the first start of the day, and other times I start it, even 10 hours later, are smooth. Any ideas as to what the cause of this is and how I could remedy it? Thanks!
