Our old dog ate nothing but Purina dog chow for his 17 years.

Our other dog is 8 years old and has the same diet. She does get a variety of table scraps as well though. She will eat the strangest food, Brocolli, carrots, green beans and even beets. She will chew on a cob of corn until there is nothing left. Ironicly, my wife uses the empty 50 lb bag of dogfood to put the dog poop in. Seems like that weighs more than 50 pounds!
