When cold, it shifts OK. Firm 1st to 2nd, soft 2nd to 3rd, and soft to 4th (flaring if your foot is into it). When fully warmed up it doesn't shift from 2nd to 3rd without forcing it with the shift lever. If it does get into 3rd, then it won't get to 4th. Big problem, or ??
