I use Mobile 1 5W40 (a little hard to find and a little more expensive) or Rotella "synthetic" 5W40 (cheaper and usually available at walmart). The advantage of 5W40 synthetic over 15W40 coventional oil is easier cold starting. Beyond that, any diesel oil with the correct range will work.
