Once the belt is tight enough, you can tighten the other bolts.

If the other alternator bolts are not loose, you wont be able to do much when adjusting the the adjustment bolt.
That makes sense lol my bolt on the bottom is tight.. I'll give it a whirl thanks!!! Damn this is a PITA lol but I love how it's not at a mechanics
