Not to pitch but FastLane (accessable fromt he top banner) has my rotors for like $28.00 each and the pads are relatively inexpensive also. Chaning these on any German vehicle of this vintage is really quite easy and shouldn't be veiwed as a big deal. The prices you were quoted look out of line to me but I am just a consumer and not a tech.
