 It's one thing when the company fires the pilots.  
It's quite another when the FAA pulls their tickets.  The union has absolutely no standing with the government.  It has nothing to do with a "permanent revocation".  The revocation is, by definition, permanent, unless the pilots mount a successful appeal to the FAA.
