The star hood ornament on my '72 w108 280se has met it's demise. Instead of forking out $80 bucks for another fragile star I'm thinking about mounting some other type of bow sprite up there. Maybe something like a naked lady, a swan, a roaring lion, or an elephant. Most of what I have found are huge, ghastly, and not dignified at all. Hopefully I'll find something that looks grand but not too overstated.

Has anyone on the BB changed out their mascot for another? If so please post a picture and note where you found it.
