So I'm having charging issues and turns out the brushes on the voltage regulator are very worn.

Locally I have some options: A Bosch replacement for too much money from the dealer, another Bosch one for a better price waaaay across town, and then another one for $30 something made by BWD at a local place maybe 1/2 mile from my house.

My question is, who the heck it BWD, or Borg, or something like that? I would love to hop on my bike and pick this one up rather than somehow trekking miles across town to get the cheaper Bosch replacement......

Any info?
