As said above, the gasket for the cap is in the buy parts, about $2.50.

when I remove the cap, I set it on a rag right side up. then wipe off the bottom real well.
then before replacing it, I wipe off the valve cover, and screw it down.

I replaced mine about 4yrs ago, and I now get some weeping if I put it on one way,

I do a 180, and no leak. they do get cooked and dry out in time. so, the next order I`ll order a couple along with the rubber elbo next to it.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
