OK I have my O-ring that I ordered from the BMW cycle place see pic at bottom for comparison. The cost was $1.92+tax.

The reason I did not try to buy the O-ring at a Bearing Shop is because the last time I did something like that the counter person *****ed that it cost them more than the cost of the O-ring to do the paperwork and wanted me to buy a bag of O-rings.
This is not to say that you would have the same experience at a place local to you.
