I suspect that there is alot of build up on the outside of the evap core. I have removed enough stuff before to reach in and touch the fins of the core and my fingers came back with some old black stuff on them. I'm not up to pulling the dash to clean it at this time though. I may get around to it one day.

After running it some more this morning (73 dF ambient, 95% humidity) I got 42 dF air out of the center vents after driving for 15 miles. I think it is slightly better than the 123 that was in it.

I feel that if you have a car running r12 leave it alone. When I get the 240D back it is getting a new compressor/dryer and getting charged with r12.
