And speaking of Roy being the best, I concur with using the photo with the torch as his avatar -- no one's going to be any more scared of you than they already are, Roy, and the manic grin is classic.
Thanks again, everyone -- we were sorry to see you go, and we're already looking forward to next year!

To answer the questions:
I am Home

Update:
The 190D could not survive the trip, top speed was a white knuckled 50 MPH.
* Flex disc's where spitting cord.
* All rear link bushings wrecked.
* Both front lower ball joints bad.
* Left tie rod threatening to come off the ball.
I will fix it when the car I am driving is returned.

Left Mount Vernon roughly 11:00 PM Friday, ten rest area naps later, I arrived home 9:30 AM Sunday, and passed out..
Woke up at 4:00 PM.
Snaked the plugged bathtub drain.
Unloaded the car.
Fell asleep at 6:30 PM..
Woke up noon Monday to a home cooked meal with lots of coffee.
Spent most of the afternoon catching up on urgent personal matters.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The W126 300SD that I borrowed made the trip with only minor issues:
* Voltage regulator, replaced on the road.
* Mono valve, replaced on the road.
* Thermostat, replaced this evening in Detroit..
* Left headlight failed Sunday on the way through Detroit.

I forgot to get pictures of your innovative oil-cooler line solution for the forum.

It takes lots of planning and preparation, then the tech session starts.
As you all noted, there was a huge volume of data covered over greatly expanded hours.
I come away each time happy/exhausted, and looking for ways to make it better.

Everyone needs to remember their cameras next year.

See you all next year.
