1. The cover piece you are talking about comes right out when you get the tumbler out, as I recalled when I did mine. When going back in it need to line up with a notch you’ll see when you get it out.
2. Hey if this was done 4 years ago you don’t have a lot of stuff on your car key ring do you? This may cause problems as people here say…
