'80 240D Clutch Bleeding Clarification
So I attach a tube from the right front caliper bleeder nipple to the slave cylinder nipple. Loosen nuts on nipples.(that sounds weird :O)
I pump the brake.
Fluid from the brakes is pushed up into the clutch lines?
What is my clutch pedal supposed to be doing during this operation? Should I make sure it's down to the floor? or all the way up?
Will fluid from the brake resevoir go down as I pump the brake, needing replaced as I go?
Will fluid eventually appear in the back portion of the resevoir?
Please fill me in on the details. I don't want to screw this up.
THanks.
Jay
