The old "Atlas" and "Washingtons" have a top RPM of about 350 RPM and are reversed by stopping the engine, the cam slids fore/aft to the other set of lobes, compressed air then starts the engine in the reverse direction. Running out of compressed air can result a "no more maneuvers left" situation
so you better get it tied up without to much fooling around
The exposed rockers and push rods must be lubed every watch (4 hours). Those "old "stamp mills" are much more pleasant too be around than the high speed Cats and Jimmys but a real pain to run.
