I'm not sure why they were motivated to be so magnanimous but whether it was their perception of the value of my Benz, a desire to clear the accident slate at the end of the year, or possibly their wanting to settle quickly before personal injury ( there was none ) entered the picture.....whatever......I'm most definitely a happy camper.
