Has the instrument cluster been out recently? Did these lights go out afterwards? Pull out the instrument cluster. There is a three pole connector (I think there are only two wires in the connector, though... it's been a while since I had one apart) next to the clock wire. It probably isn't connected to the cluster. This is what supplies the power to shift, fader, rear window defroster, mirror switch, window switch bulbs, etc. Everything else gets power from another connector.
