easy starting once again

I had been experiencing harder and harder starts in the 82 as the cold spell deepened here in Vermont.
2 injectors appeared to be weeping at the nozzle/body seam for quite a few months and I suspected air leaks, so the car had been parked for the last week awaiting new injectors and return line from C Sean Watts.
Yeterday I finally dug into the car and lo and behold someone neglected to check the GP's!!! 3 out of 4 were nfg, the 4th having been replaced in the fall. Well flame me out boys.
Picked up some Autolites from Napa , I know they are said to be junk, but I needed some now and will get a set of Beru's or Bosch soon anyway.
Long story short, now have new balanced Monarks, fresh return lines and GP's in the old girl and she has her smoke back.
<20* F this AM and without the block heater after one glow cycle it fired on first crank and settled into a clean idle. Woo Hoo.
Lesson learned , check yer glowplugs.
Although I am glad to have the new Monarks too.
