I have been driving this car ever since I got it. All those steering squeeks have dissappeared. This car runs excellent. Had the roof painted where the clearcoat came off. The moisture of sitting in the barn caused the clearcoat problem. All the filters, fluids (including transmission) have been changed. The fuel tank has been drained and cleaned. I put the car away for the winter with a special battery charging system to keep it up to snuff. The clearcoat on the hood and deck remains bad. I was going to have that painted by MB this spring. As it is right now, I want around $5,000 for it. This spring after those parts are painted I will ask more. The only items not working are the cruise control and the radio. That series radio has a battery in it and when it expires, the mfgr is the only fix since dealers mostly lost the parts to do it or dont know how. The radio just shows 4 dashes and for several years models, a code cannot be entered in the radio.

There are no drips, leaks, oil burning whatsoever. Also the car is good and tight. The interior is like a dark chocolate and is very fine. This car really runs and shift good just like the day it was made.
