It is possible to do a RHD 617 turbo. There are after market kits down here that can be fitted. I think the expansion joint on the outlet of the turbo would need to be removed and replaced with a 90 degree bend like on the outlet of a Saab 900 turbo. That would allow the exhaust to go down in front of the steering box. The power steering hoses would need moving to keep them away from the heat. NA Benz's are ok, Ive had 3 of them. Not too good around town, but fine on the open road.
