Won't crank is there a way to start in a pinch?

I'm looking at possibly buying a 94 300e tomorrow that won't start. It might be an electrical issue. I don't want to spend hours troubleshooting it until I have time.

I'd suspect:
1. Starter
2. Starter Wiring
3. Neutral Safety Switch
4. Battery

Is there a way to get it started in a pinch?

I can think of a way mechanically... tow strap it up to around 25mph and put the shifter in low gear (2 on the shifter???)

What are my options to try electrically?
thanks!
