If you ever get the chance, have a look at the Australian film "The Dish". It gives some insight into the landing on the moon. It is a bit factually incorrect but there is a few original film clips in it. My father was the supervising engineer. After it was all over he went to the USA representing the Australian communications team. He was given an award for the team, my mother still has it. I am not sure who presented it to him. He passed away about 15 years ago.
