Sorry I forgot to say - I didn't realise how easy it is to remove the fuse box (my experiences of other cars has been to leave well alone).

Is it normal that there is no gasket or seal between the fuse box and the bulkhead?
Is it normal that once you have removed the fuse box cover in the engine bay you can either see into the driver's foot well or conversely look from the driver's foot well and see daylight?
