I thought the Census race questions were fugged up and a$$ backwards.
Which is not at all surprising to me, coming from the US Government.

Q. 9 should have gone before Q. 8. If you answered Q 9 there is no need to answer Q 8. Yet, iirc, the form said to answer 8.
I don't know why a white, black, AA, or Negro or Native American,Alaska Native, etc. x 9, should have to say they aren't Hispanic too? What's the need to do that. I think there's prolly some statistical jimmying potential in that question, although I admit I can't see it at first blush.
