I like the boxy ones best.
My girl has a 2004 S60 that she loves, and I feel that she is pretty safe in it compared to a Honda or the Toyota Corolla she traded for it, but I would take a 240 any day!
My friend growing up, was riding in her parents 1968 or 69 Volvo 145 wagon when it was front ended by a Fairlane! The people in the Volvo were fine, but shook up - They were all wearing the new fangled shoulder belts! The moron in the Ford was hurt bad!

Those older Volvos were real tanks! Lots of Swedish steel in them.
