Not quite the same. What was the last bill the dems tried to pass pertaining to racism or tolerance that would place some minority at a disadvantage? Saying that one is against homosexuals and that they are deviants, then voting for a bill denying them civil rights all while being gay takes a special kind of self hatred. Going after the POTUS for adultery while at the same time banging your secretary and dumping your wife while she is hospitalized, that is special. Telling people that abstinence is the only way while neither you or your daughter were able to keep ones legs crossed prior to marriage, not too mention the mountains of evidence showing that abstinence is not effective is special.

I do not believe in applying the attributes of a few to the group as a whole. I do believe that politicians are disingenuous to begin with and when it comes to anything sexually related that republican politicians are more disingenuous on average.
