Are the fuel injectors the same?

I need to get my 220D back on the road I think the injectors are causing a bunch of extra smoke. I will not drive it like that. I get a lot of water in my fuel tank for some reason in the 220D and it is completely rusted, now I have a new fuel tank in the trunk and a water fuel separator. I am thinking my injector nozzles are shot causing excessive smoke.
Back to my question, are the fuel injectors the same? My 240D runs perfect just too rusty to drive safely.
