The chip on my truck is good for 40HP (tow safe) 80HP (economy) and 120HP (power). It seems to add some extra timing advance in the 80HP mode because I can hear the engine get noisier when I switch to it.

Best I've gotten was 18MPG with an average of 16 and 11 when towing another vehicle.
