Alternator, the alternator quit and while you were driving with blower on radio you drained out the power in the battery causing the electrical stuff to not work. Your engine don't use any electricity while running, only time power is used in the engine compartment is when your glow plug is warming up. This is one great thing about old diesel engines, you can still drive even theres no power.
