Don't kid yourself, they are all crooks, and would screw you outta a nickel if they could.
Basic rule of thumb - If the insurance company has TV ads, then they will try to deny or reduce payment as a regular course of business.
BTW, there is a Progressive office, with agents at desks, just a few blocks from where I used to work. I believe there are also GEICO offices with real people, however it has been many years since my last GEICO policy.
