I went to Jr. High in New Mexico, circa 1964 to 1967. I learned years later that the legal age in NM was 13 until changed sometime in the 90s, I think. I had a Spanish class and our teacher, a younger Latino guy, I'm guessing near 30, would leer like a som***** at two of the girls, two of the cutest in school. I mean, the guy was leaving nothing to the imagination. The girls responded in a way that made it clear they knew what was up. Couldn't tell if they were actually showing interest though.

I've wondered since if that guy wasn't indulging at the time and within most of the letter of the law.
