Offering a political position to induce an possible candidate either to run or refrain from running is forbidden by law and the US Const. It fits the definition of "bribery', which, along with "high crimes and misdemeanors" is basis for impeachment.
Not saying it goes all the way to the Pres. But it is hard to believe the Rom, or any one else would take, on their own authority, such an offer.
Sestak is NOT the only one who this White House has made such an offer regarding.
Lets wait and see where the evidence leads.
The truth is simple; its fabrication that is complex and time-consuming.
This comes from DEMOCRATS; not Rrs. Sestak was not maiking partisan rhetoric when he admitted to being offered a position. It even laid quietly for a few months before the recent noise about it.
