Apparently I read it wrong. I thought he wanted to know what size socket to use on the bolt. I was merely trying to make sure he didn't do something that would hurt his engine. Only trying to help out a fellow forum member.

I wasn't aware your job was to correct everyone about everything... case in point your last comment about the crank... which in every part of the world (on an OM617a as long as it is "right side up") the crank would be below the fan pulley towards the bottom of the engine... so your answer is kind of confusing? Unless you are talking about some other kind of crank... No need to clarify...

Sorry OP for going off-topic... hopefully from now on you wont receive more replies that are unrelated to your question (which apparently mine was - as noted by tangofox).
