The MOT is a scam. It is not objective like smog test ( even that is a scam-ish ) which is done with equipment. Part of MOT test is subjective as it check for rust. How to you determine structural rust and non structural rust? It is all subjective. They poked the car and it may look worse after the test. I hated it when I was living in UK.
