first thing I would do is to see if your compressor is working and how much refrigerant you have. To check your compressor and to see how much referigrant you have jump the pressure switch. If you see bubbles in the accumulator then you have low refrigerant and moisture in the system and most likely a leak somewhere. Is it R12 or R134a? Do you have a set of pressure gauges? if you tell me the pressures I can better tell you where to go with it
