Finally started to pull the Annular axles today. Prior to starting I have searched for a step by step method on this site. Would rather read about problems and how to fix, then repeat known issues. Could not find anywhere about pulling Annular axles. A lot about the other type, so I started anyway.

Put the car up on jacks
Pulled right rear tire,and hung the brake caliper
Needed to run and get a 8MM Hex to remove the inner side of the axle. – problems
When I try and loosen the bolt, the axle TURNS and unable to stop.
Put the manual trans in 1st, and the axle still turns
Did not put the parking brake on, since already removed the caliper.

I should have broken those inner bolts when the car was on the ground. So, now will put the tires back on, lower the car and then brake those inner bolts.

Any suggestions welcomed.
