I would say mixed highway and city you get about 25mpg (remember, its about 1-2mpg better than the w123) but pure highway, at 55mph, expect 33mpg if your car is optimal. 65,pure highway, expect 30. I pushed 655miles on a tank once and im sure i could have probably made it close to 700
