I used to think all 300SDs came with rear headrests because my 1979 had them as did my parts car, but I started noticing no one else's car had them! My 1979 300SD parts car had heated seats in the front and rear, with headrests front and rear.
An interesting bit of trivia is that some W116s were not made with headrests at all!
