Oh, I would never attempt to pull my handgun simply because a criminal asked for my car keys, or my laptops or anything else in my car. my 13 year old daughter was in the back seat on the trip with me and I always carry my handgun for personal protection. carrying all these things may make me a sweeter target for a criminal, and they may decide it's better to kill me than just take my property. I carry because my father was a marksman in the air force, and I've lived on farms and rural communities all my life, and it's just the way I was raised. a firearm is for three things, for skill targeting, to kill to eat, and to kill to protect your life. I would NEVER use my weapon to scare anyone, or to get back at a criminal for taking my property.
but don't even think for a second that I will not protect myself or my family! and I'm not talking about waving the thing around to scare off a threat either.
