Steve, I totally agree. However, the longer we walk this earth, the more people we have the pleasure of meeting that will a) not take sound advice, and b) wish to do things the hard way.

Perhaps someone considering spacers has a nice set of factory wheels and their only cost is spacers and bolts ? I still avoid spacers like the plague.
There are cars from the factory with spacers (rare), but for 99% of the rest of the market, its not the best plan.
